MISSIONS
SOUTHWEST GLEN MISSION
Southwest Glen Mission
is an apartment mission that is dedicated to reaching the educational, and nutritional needs of children and youth from low-income families in the Houston area. The programs offered include homework/educational assistance, The Children’s Reading Library, What About Me? (WAM) which promotes health and wellness training for adolescents, and a “STEM” program. The mission also provides counseling and referral services. Together, Southwest Glen Mission and Inspiration Church
help over 3,000 families annually.
SECOND MILE
Second Mile Mission Center helps Fort Bend County residents in poverty and crisis by providing basic needs and opportunities to take next steps in their lives. While people are drawn to Second Mile for immediate needs such as food or health care, many begin to shift their focus to long-term goals of self-sufficiency for themselves and their family.
Second Mile has grown to provide equipping programs such as financial education, job training, and financial assistance.
FELLOWSHIP OF THE CHRISTIAN ATHLETES (FCA)
FCA has been challenging coaches and athletes on the professional, college, high school, junior high and youth levels to use the powerful platform of sport to reach every coach and every athlete with the transforming power of Jesus Christ since 1954. FCA focuses on serving local communities around the globe by engaging, equipping and empowering coaches and athletes to unite, inspire and change the world through the gospel.
